Nakhchivan: Today, the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic convened to discuss the dismissal of Prime Minister Jeyhun Jalilov. The agenda included the issue of relieving Jeyhun Ramiz oglu Jalilov from his duties as Prime Minister of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Assembly, Bakhtiyar Mammadov, announced that President Ilham Aliyev had issued an order on November 12 appointing Jeyhun Jalilov as the President’s authorized representative in the Autonomous Republic. This new appointment necessitated the dismissal of Jalilov from his current role as Prime Minister.
The Supreme Assembly reviewed and voted on the draft decision titled ‘On relieving Jeyhun Ramiz oglu Jalilov from the post of Prime Minister of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.’ The decision was adopted, finalizing Jalilov’s dismissal in light of his new responsibilities.
