Baku: Nar is advancing its commitment to creating an equal and inclusive environment with the launch of its new DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) strategy, 'We Are All One'. The strategy aims to improve accessibility of mobile services for persons with disabilities.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Nar has initiated a program where front-office employees now provide services in sign language to assist subscribers with hearing impairments. This initiative is designed to improve communication quality at customer service centers and ensure service accessibility for all individuals.
Since last year, Nar has implemented priority service for persons with disabilities, enhancing their convenience. The customer service centers at 'Elmlar Akademiyasi' and 'Memar Ajami' have been fully equipped for wheelchair accessibility, with adjustments made to entrances, exits, and infrastructure to facilitate movement.
In 2021, Nar launched jestdili.az, Azerbaijan's first online sign language dictionary, to support an inclusive society. Building on this, Nar plans to introduce a mobile application aimed at easing the learning of sign language.
Nar currently serves 2.2 million subscribers and has been recognized as Azerbaijan's leading mobile operator for six consecutive years, based on the Customer Loyalty Index. This achievement reflects Nar's dedication to a customer-centric strategy, offering reliable communication services, diverse internet packages, and modern eSim technology at competitive prices.
