Baku: Naval Forces' live fire tactical exercise is underway in the Caspian Sea with the participation of significant military leadership. First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, alongside other senior staff of the Defense Ministry, observed the progress of the exercise conducted by the Azerbaijani Naval Forces, the Ministry of Defense reported to APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the exercise involves units from the Naval Forces, Air Forces, Coast Guard of the State Border Service, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The exercise is being conducted in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, focusing on various tasks, including the destruction of a simulated enemy and joint activities with other military formations.
The primary objective of the exercise is to enhance the skills of commanders and headquarters personnel in organizing and managing combat operations. It also aims to assess the readiness of ships to execute combat tasks both independently and as part of tactical groups.
