NAYORA Chairman Advocates for Youth Involvement in Urban Planning Oversight

Baku: 'Youth should actively participate in the monitoring and evaluation of urban planning priorities,' Rafael Hajibayli, Chairman of the National Assembly of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (NAYORA), emphasized during a roundtable on 'Children and Youth' at WUF13, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Hajibayli stated that the involvement of young people in these events should be intentional and continuous. He urged for the regular creation of opportunities and the establishment of platforms for thematic discussions, allowing youth to engage with practical issues. He also highlighted the importance of including perspectives from young people across various regions to address urban planning priorities and community needs effectively. Collaboration among government bodies, international partners, experts, and youth organizations is seen as crucial for facilitating the exchange of ideas and information.
