Nearly 600 Azerbaijani Citizens Returned from Conflict Zones

Baku: Nearly 600 Azerbaijani citizens have been successfully repatriated from conflict zones, as announced by Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov. During a joint press conference with Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Bayramov emphasized the ongoing instability in various regions and urged Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad to heed official warnings and instructions in case of emergencies.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Minister Bayramov highlighted the identification and safe return of approximately 600 Azerbaijani nationals who found themselves in conflict situations abroad. The minister assured that efforts to locate and repatriate citizens facing such predicaments are continuing.

Bayramov also pointed out that some Azerbaijani citizens have been involved in armed conflicts in various regions. He warned that individuals might be lured into these conflicts with promises and reminded that participating in foreign armed conflicts is against Azerbaijani law. Such actions could potentially lead to the loss of Azerbaijani citizenship.
