New Azerbaijan Party’s China Visit Focuses on Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Beijing: A delegation from Azerbaijan, comprising members of the country's ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), concluded its visit to China on July 2. During the visit, the YAP delegation attended seminars in Shanghai focused on China's socio-economic development and the Communist Party of China's (CPC) personnel training and youth policy.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani delegation also met with representatives of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee in Beijing. During these meetings, both sides noted the steady development of Azerbaijan-China relations and discussed the current state of and prospects for cooperation between the ruling parties of the two countries.

The delegation's itinerary included attending a ceremony honoring members of the CPC. Vugar Iskandarov, a member of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis, addressed the event, emphasizing the excellent relations between the two countries. He highlighted the strong political commitment of their leaders and the role of the memorandum of cooperation signed between YAP and the CPC in strengthening bilateral ties.

The Azerbaijani delegation also visited Hebei Province, the Great Wall of China, and other tourist attractions, rounding off their visit by exploring China's cultural and historical landmarks.
