Baku: There has been a change in the leadership of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), APA-Economics reports citing CBA. The Director General of the Central Bank, Ziya Aliyev, has been appointed as an Advisor to the Chairman. This appointment increases the number of advisors to the CBA Chairman to five.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Vusal Javanshir Gurbanov, Seydiyev Elrad Eldar, Mansurov Anar Eldar, and Rasulov Tarlan Izzet have been appointed as the General Directors of the Central Bank since February 3 of this year. Vusal Gurbanov previously served as the Director of the Insurance Supervision Department of the Central Bank. Elrad Seydiyev was the Head of the Financial Markets Operations Department of the CBA. Anar Mansurov held the position of Head of the Financial Management Department, and Tarlan Rasulov was the Head of the Foreign Exchange Reserves Management Department.
These appointments bring the total number of General Directors at the Central Bank to nine.
