Ankara: A facility that will significantly contribute to missile production in Azerbaijan will soon be operational, announced Murad Ikinci, CEO of Roketsan, to APA's correspondent in Ankara. This development marks a major step in the collaboration between Azerbaijan and Roketsan, a prominent Turkish defense company.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the new facility is part of Roketsan's investment initiative in Azerbaijan. The CEO highlighted the importance of the project, emphasizing that it aims to enhance missile production capabilities in Azerbaijan. He also noted the ongoing successful collaboration with the Azerbaijan Air Force and Land Forces.
Murad Ikinci stated, "Azerbaijan is our brotherly country. As Roketsan, we are striving to implement serious defense industry projects here. We currently have an investment project underway. With this investment, we will operationalize a facility in Azerbaijan that will make a very significant contribution to missile production."
The CEO further explained that Roketsan is partnering with multiple companies to establish infrastructure that will not only replicate production capabilities in Azerbaijan but also provide training for young Azerbaijani engineers and technical specialists. This initiative underscores Roketsan's commitment to fostering local talent and strengthening Azerbaijan's defense sector.
