Baku: On August 26, First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, along with her daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva, inaugurated nursery-kindergarten No. 352 in the Nasimi district of Baku.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov shared details about the developments at the facility. Originally established in 1972 as the Republican Specialized Nursery-Kindergarten for hearing-impaired children, it has now been transformed into nursery-kindergarten No. 352, accommodating 116 children.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation supported extensive renovations and the construction of a new block at the site. While maintaining a special group for hearing-impaired children, the facility has been upgraded to provide comprehensive preschool education and care. A newly built two-story block can now house 36 hearing-impaired children.
The nursery-kindergarten is equipped with an audiologist's office, playrooms, and bedrooms, in addition to sports, event, music, and dance halls. It also includes a medical room, dressing rooms, and teachers' rooms. The audiologist's office, classrooms, and playrooms have been furnished with necessary equipment.
Additionally, outdoor play and sports areas have been developed for the children, and gazebos have been installed across the grounds.
