New vice-rector appointed at AzTU

By order of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev, Rashad Kazimov was appointed to the position of Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs of the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU).

Rector Vilayat Valiyev introduced the new vice-rector to the personnel and wished him success in his work. Rector noted that the position of Vice-rector for Financial and Economic Affairs has been re-established at AzTU. The appointment of Rashad Kazimov to this position deserves praise. Rashad Kazimov has held a number of positions in the field of financial management and has extensive experience. Rector wished the new vice-rector success. Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs, Rashad Kazimov, thanked the Minister of Education, Emin Amrullayev, for the trust placed in him. He said that he would justify this trust.

Note that in 1993-1997 Rashad Kazimov graduated from the Baku Institute of Social Management and Political Science (now the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan) with a bachelor’s degree in international relations, and in 1997-1999 – with a master’s degree in world political processes and theory of international relations.  In 2003-2006, he studied at the postgraduate course of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. He is Doctor of Philosophy in Economics. Prior to his appointment, Rashad Kazimov worked as the head of the department “Economics and Security” of AzTU.
