Aghdara: On March 17, another resettlement took place in the Aghdara district, the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts told APA's Karabakh bureau. Apartment keys were handed over to residents in the village of Ashagi Oratag of the district.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, within the framework of the resettlement phase, a total of 41 families (201 people) were relocated to five villages of the Aghdara district. Specifically, 21 families (108 people) returned to the village of Ashagi Oratag, 3 families (13 people) to Childiran village, 4 families (17 people) to Chapar village, 6 families (29 people) to Hasanriz village, and 7 families (34 people) to Heyvali village.

Speaking at the event, Sabuhi Gahramanov, Deputy Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, provided information about the restoration and reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories, as well as the phased resettlement process. He noted that large-scale construction and infrastructure projects are being implemented in the region in accordance with the instructions of the head of state, and the return of former internally displaced persons to their native lands is being consistently ensured. The newly resettled residents expressed their gratitude for the conditions created and shared their joy of living again in their native lands.

At this stage, the relocation involved families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
