NGO Coalition Chairman Praises Organization of WUF13 in Baku

Baku: The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku has been lauded for its organization and hospitality by Melvine Wajiri, Chairman of the NGO Coalition for Social Development. Wajiri expressed gratitude to the Government of Azerbaijan and event organizers, highlighting the seamless logistical arrangements that have been put in place for the forum.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Wajiri noted that attendees are welcomed at the airport and efficiently transported to their hotels, exemplifying a hospitable approach. He praised the well-organized transportation from hotels to the event venue and commended the high level of security maintained by police escorts during transit.

Wajiri also acknowledged the efforts of the volunteers, who provide valuable information and assistance, ensuring that the event proceeds smoothly. He remarked on the efficient process of badge printing upon entering the venue and the professional setup of stands and decorations. Wajiri emphasized Azerbaijan's growing experience in hosting major international events, mentioning past events such as COP29 and the upcoming Climate Week as further demonstrations of the country's organizational capabilities and hospitality.
