Night Transport Monitoring for COP29 Successfully Completed in Baku


BAKU: As part of the preparations for the upcoming COP29, scheduled to be held in Baku from November 11 to 22, night monitoring of transport routes in the city has been completed successfully. The initiative aims to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow during the international event, according to Azerbaijani operating company COP29.

According to Trend News Agency, the transport monitoring activities were a collaborative effort involving the Azerbaijan Operational Company COP29, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Land Transport Agency of Azerbaijan. These entities worked together to oversee and streamline the movement of vehicles crucial for the event.

The monitoring operations were conducted on the night of October 20, between 2:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. The activities focused on the logistical routes connecting various facilities intended for accommodating guests in central Baku, Heydar Aliyev International Airport, and the main venue for COP29. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to facilitate
transportation and minimize disruption for both local residents and international participants.
