NomadMania Founder Highlights Significance of Zangezur Corridor

Baku: 'The Zangezur corridor is a unique place for us,' declared Harry Mitsidis, the founder and head of NomadMania, an international travelers' platform, as he prepared for a visit to Karabakh. This statement was reported by APA, emphasizing the corridor's significance to Mitsidis and his upcoming journey.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mitsidis expressed excitement about the Zangezur corridor being the highlight of his trip. He revealed that the delegation's itinerary includes visiting the corridor's starting point, marking one of the initial visits by foreign travelers to this area.

Mitsidis also commended the ongoing reconstruction and rebuilding efforts in the region, mentioning that significant construction work is already in progress in areas previously devastated. He further addressed the mine threat in the region, pointing out that previous visits faced access restrictions and required heightened safety measures. He noted that substantial progress is being made in addressing these safety concerns.

The visit program outlines that the delegation will begin their journey in Baku and proceed to Aghdam, Shusha, Khankendi, Lachin, Jabrayil, and Fuzuli. They will also traverse the area where the Zangezur corridor is anticipated to pass.
