Non-Oil and Gas Sector Budget Revenues Surpass Forecast by 9% in Azerbaijan

Baku: Revenues from the non-oil and gas sector in Azerbaijan have reached 5 billion 533.7 million manats, constituting 57.7% of the total state budget revenues in the first quarter of 2026. This figure surpasses the forecast by 446.1 million manats, or 8.8%, as reported by the Ministry of Finance to APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, in the period from January to March of the current year, the state budget revenues from the non-oil and gas sector were primarily sourced from tax authorities, contributing 69.5% or 3,847.1 million manats. Customs authorities accounted for 25.5% or 1,410.1 million manats, while paid services of budget-funded organizations added 3.0% or 163.5 million manats. Other revenues contributed 1.8% or 99.2 million manats, and the lease of state property accounted for 0.2% or 13.8 million manats.

Revenues from the oil and gas sector amounted to 4 billion 64.9 million manats, which is 12.4 million manats or 0.3% above the forecast.
