Baku: In the first nine months of 2025, the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) reached 95 billion 229.2 million manats, marking a 1.3 percent increase compared to the same period the previous year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, citing the State Statistical Committee, the non-oil and gas sector contributed significantly to this growth with an increase of 2.9 percent, while the oil and gas sector saw a decline of 1.9 percent.

Breaking down the GDP production, 34.2 percent was attributed to the industry sector. The trade and repair of vehicles sector contributed 10.5 percent, followed by transportation and storage at 7.0 percent. Agriculture, forestry, and fishing accounted for 6.8 percent, while the construction sector contributed 6.6 percent. The accommodation of tourists and public catering sectors made up 2.8 percent, and the information and communication sectors accounted for 1.8 percent. Other sectors combined contributed 20.7 percent of the GDP, with net taxes on products and imports comprising 9.6 percent.

The GDP per capita for the period was recorded at 9,300.3 manats, indicating the economic output generated per person in the country during these nine months.
