Investors from Azerbaijan established 321 joint stock companies and limited liability companies in Turkey from January to November. Activity of investors who have contributed their capital for activity in Turkey has grown by 48% as compared to the same period of 2021.

According to information from the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Turkey, 166.6 million Turkish liras have been invested in the founding capital. Over the same period of the last year, 73.2 million liras were invested in the capital of 216 companies founded with participation of Azerbaijani citizens as initial capital. This year, 75% of the capital (125 million liras) in the newly established companies was invested by Azerbaijani partners.

It should be noted that Azerbaijani investors create their business mainly in Istanbul. This year 266 companies have been established here. The preference for the establishment of business is also given to such areas as Ankara – 8, Antalya – 15, Bursa, Izmir and Mersin – 7 each, etc.

This year Azerbaijanis have established 169 companies in Turkey, the main activity of which is trade. The priority spheres of business are also transportation and warehousing – 26, manufacturing industry – 26, construction – 19, etc
