Azerbaijan: A total of 340 projects worth AZN 1.0641 billion were implemented under the Great Return Program in Azerbaijan's liberated territories in January-June this year, the Ministry of Finance said, APA-Economics reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, of the implemented projects, 182 were social projects aimed at developing community services and infrastructure. Additionally, 76 projects focused on improving the transport network, enhancing connectivity and accessibility in the region. Water management and land reclamation saw the implementation of 36 projects, addressing crucial environmental and agricultural concerns.

Furthermore, 19 projects were dedicated to defense and law enforcement, emphasizing security and stability in the area. The energy and industry sectors witnessed the execution of 11 projects, contributing to the economic growth and industrial development. Lastly, 16 projects were categorized under various other sectors, indicating a broad spectrum of developmental initiatives undertaken during this period.
