About 13,000 earthquakes occurred in Türkiye and in the areas close to the country in the last 1 month, APA reports citing Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).

From February 6 to March 4, about 13,000 earthquakes were recorded by AFAD in Türkiye and areas close to the country.

“As a result of the aftershocks in Kahramanmaraş, the number of earthquakes recorded in 6 months was reached in 1 month,” reads the information.
