Tbilisi: An official welcome ceremony was held in Tbilisi for President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The event took place in the capital of Georgia, with a guard of honor lined up to welcome the Azerbaijani leader.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President of Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili greeted President Ilham Aliyev upon his arrival. The chief of the guard of honor reported to the Azerbaijani president during the ceremony, which also featured the playing of national anthems of both Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Both presidents proceeded to pass along the line of the guard of honor as part of the formal proceedings. The ceremony was meticulously organized to honor President Aliyev's visit to Georgia.
