On the sidelines of the 11th Session of the Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers holding in Baku Azerbaijan, the OIC Secretary-General H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha met the Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Tourism of Uzbekistan H.E. Mr. Aziz Abdukhakimov, on 27 June 2022.

The two sides emphasized the need to further enhance collaboration among Member States in the area of tourism development, increase intra-OIC tourism exchanges, and promotion and preservation of cultural heritage.
