Oil Price Falls Below $84 for the First Time in Three Months

London: Global energy prices have declined amid easing tensions in the Middle East, APA-Economics reports. The price of August futures for Brent crude oil on the ICE exchange fell by $4.03, or 4.61%, compared to the previous session, reaching $83.30 per barrel.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the July futures for WTI crude oil on the Nymex exchange decreased by $4.32, or 5.09%, to $80.56 per barrel. These declines mark a significant shift in the oil market, which had been experiencing higher prices in recent months. The easing of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East is seen as a major factor contributing to the drop in oil prices.

The decrease in oil prices could have implications for global markets and economies, as energy costs play a crucial role in various sectors. Analysts will be closely monitoring the situation to understand the potential long-term effects of these price changes on the global economy.
