London: Oil prices are seeing an upward trend in global markets as reports emerge of a possible ceasefire between the United States and Iran. In recent trading on the ICE London intercontinental exchange, the value of the June 2026 Brent crude oil export contract rose by 2.32%, reaching $96.95 per barrel.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the NYMEX commodity exchange in New York also reported an increase in oil prices. The price of WTI crude oil futures for May 2026 delivery climbed by 3.22%, hitting $97.45 per barrel.
