Baku: The ongoing court proceedings at the Baku Military Court have unveiled a series of documents related to criminal cases against several citizens of the Republic of Armenia, including Arayik Harutyunyan and others. These individuals face charges of crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, and terrorism.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, During the session, presided over by Judge Zeynal Aghayev, the court provided interpreters and legal representatives for the accused. The hearing was attended by the accused, their defense counsel, victims, legal heirs, and state prosecutors.

Revelations included the broadcast of the ‘Goyamart’ military TV program, which promoted Armenian occupation efforts and military readiness in formerly occupied Azerbaijani territories. The program featured exercises overseen by high-ranking officers, including Major General David Manukyan.

Documents also detailed the establishment of the Armenian Ministry of Defense in 1992 and secret orders issued to Armenian armed forces concerning military operations in Azerbaijan. Orders included the construction of defensive infrastructures and preparation of missile systems for attacks on Azerbaijani settlements.

Secret combat orders disclosed plans for missile strikes on Azerbaijani cities and regions, with specific coordinates confirmed to target civilian areas. The court proceedings will continue on October 16, addressing charges against fifteen Armenian-origin individuals for crimes during the aggressive war against Azerbaijan.

These proceedings underscore allegations against Armenian officials and military personnel for orchestrating and executing military aggression, violating international legal norms, and committing crimes under the Azerbaijani Criminal Code, including genocide and terrorism.
