By 14:30, the police had already detained more than 20 protesters in defense of Bakhtiyar Hajiyev. Among them are the founders of the human rights organization Rufat Safarov, Zaur Akper, and Zafar Ahmedov. Most of those detained are activists of the Popular Front Party, as well as members of the D 18 Movement and the Democratic Reform Party.

The action should take place at 15:00 in the city center, on the Square of Fountains
