OSCE Chairperson Emphasizes Russia’s War Against Ukraine as Major European Security Challenge

Baku: OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Federal Councillor, and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, Ignazio Cassis, emphasized the ongoing impact of Russia's war against Ukraine on European security during a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Cassis highlighted that the conflict in Ukraine remains the most significant security challenge in Europe. He underscored the importance the OSCE places on addressing this issue and expressed his concern as the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office. Cassis called for genuine dialogue, stressing the need for all parties to come together and engage in negotiations to find a resolution, aligning with the OSCE's mission to facilitate such discussions.
