OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Hails End of Armenia-Azerbaijan Conflict as a Positive Step

Baku: The end of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia is a highly successful example that fosters optimism throughout the entire OSCE region, Elina Valtonen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, told journalists.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the agreements reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia are a step forward, representing one of the key achievements of OSCE attained this year. Valtonen remarked on her visits to both countries, where she had the opportunity to familiarize herself with the peace process. She emphasized the productive relations maintained with both nations and affirmed that the OSCE is prepared to provide any necessary support concerning the ongoing discussions between the parties.
