Over 326 Kilograms of Confiscated Narcotics Destroyed in Azerbaijan

Baku: Over 326 kilograms of narcotics were destroyed in Azerbaijan on June 11. The operation involved members of the State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, along with employees from various state bodies.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the event saw the destruction of 326 kilograms 406.518 grams of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. These substances had been removed from illegal circulation by the State Border Service under 24 different court verdicts. Additionally, 15,038 tablets of various compositions were also presented for destruction during this operation.

The process was overseen by a commission comprising the Working Group of the State Commission and the Press Center of the State Border Service. This initiative underscores Azerbaijan's ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and substance abuse.
