Baku: Over 56 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas have been delivered to Europe through the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) to date, as announced by Parviz Shahbazov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The announcement was made through a post on Shahbazov's social media platform X, where he highlighted the significant milestone in European energy transportation.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Shahbazov mentioned his recent meeting with Luca Schieppati, Managing Director of TAP AG, in anticipation of the Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting. The discussions between Shahbazov and Schieppati centered on the upcoming phase of the TAP expansion, which began with the completion of its first stage earlier this year. They also addressed the present dynamics of the natural gas market within Europe, emphasizing the importance of the TAP in meeting the continent's energy demands.
