Baku: After the interview stage of this year’s certification process, more than 72,000 educators will receive salary supplements, the Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev, said during a media briefing, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Minister added that over 80,000 teachers participated in the exams held for 2022-2025. The certification process aims to enhance the quality of education by recognizing and rewarding educators who meet certain criteria. The salary supplements are intended to motivate educators and acknowledge their efforts in advancing their professional qualifications.
The certification process includes a series of evaluations, including exams and interviews, designed to assess the skills and knowledge of educators. The successful completion of these stages is a prerequisite for receiving the salary supplements, which form part of the government’s initiative to support and develop the education sector in Azerbaijan.
