Over four months, Azerbaijan supplied more than 3 billion cubic meters of gas

In January-April 2022, Azerbaijan exported 3 billion 39.34 mcm of gas to Turkey from the Shah Deniz field; this is by 22.6% lower than the same period last year, the Council for Turkish Energy Market Regulation (EPDK).

According to the Council, in April 2022, gas exports from Azerbaijan to Turkey amounted to 733.92 mcm, by 4.83% lower than the same period last year. In April, Azerbaijan accounted for 18.04% of all gas supplies to Turkey.

In general, in April, Azerbaijan ranked the third in terms of gas supplies to Turkey. First comes Russia, which accounted for 46.28% of all deliveries, then Iran (20.59%), and Algeria (9.01%) ranks the fourth.

In 2021, in general, Azerbaijan exported to Turkey 8 billion 820.24 mcm of gas from the Shah Deniz field (a decrease of 22.7%).
