PACE sees Georgia’s mediation mission in the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia

The parliamentary delegations of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia will try to resolve issues through Georgia’s leading role, Rik Daems told 1tv.ge with reference to the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Note that Rik Daems is on an official visit to Georgia.

“The first example that is important for everyone is the regional situation of Georgia in terms of relations with Azerbaijan and Armenia. We all agree that we should take the initiative as soon as the delegation is staffed in the context of parliamentary diplomacy. “Parliamentary delegations from Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia will try to resolve issues where Georgia will play a leading role,” Rikdems said on July 27 in Tbilisi.
