According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Naqvi's trip to Tehran follows two recent meetings with Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni. These discussions occurred on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's Interior Ministers' Meeting in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on Thursday and Friday. The meetings are seen as significant steps towards easing tensions in the region.
