Islamabad: Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has officially announced the inauguration of the ASAN Khidmat Center in Islamabad, underscoring the critical support provided by President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan. The launch, described by Sharif as a significant milestone for both the residents of Islamabad and the entire nation, marks a collaborative effort between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Prime Minister's interest in the ASAN service model was sparked during an official visit to Azerbaijan last year, where he toured a similar center in Baku. Impressed by its operational efficiency and service delivery, Sharif proposed establishing a comparable facility in Islamabad. The newly inaugurated center represents the fruition of this proposal, made possible through the guidance and technological contributions from Azerbaijan, as directed by President Aliyev.

The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude towards President Aliyev and the Azerbaijan leadership for their generosity and cooperation. Emphasizing the importance of such international collaboration, Sharif noted the potential expansion of the initiative, with plans to establish additional centers across various regions of Pakistan. The center is set to commence operations immediately, aiming to streamline service delivery and improve accessibility for the Pakistani populace.
