Pakistan’s Federal Minister Highlights ‘ASAN Khidmet’ Model for Accessible Public Services

Baku:Pakistan's Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, has emphasized the role of the 'ASAN Khidmet' model in improving accessibility to public services in Islamabad. The model, which shares its name with a similar service center in Baku, aims to simplify the process for citizens by making services easier to obtain.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Khawaja shared these insights during the plenary session titled 'Keynote Perspectives on Advancing Future-Ready Public Institutions for Sustainable Development,' held in Baku. She noted that the term 'ASAN Khidmet' means 'easy service' in both Urdu and Azerbaijani, underscoring the initiative's promise to facilitate and enhance public service delivery.

Khawaja attributed the success of this initiative to the strong personal and brotherly relationship between President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, suggesting that the bilateral ties have been instrumental in the model's implementation and success.
