Paris: The Cultural Center of the Azerbaijani Embassy in France hosted an exhibition entitled 'Spring Freshness in Azerbaijani Carpets.' The event was held as part of the 'Second Life' project and was co-organized by the Arts Council Azerbaijan and the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan, with support from the country's Embassy in France.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the opening ceremony was attended by J©r´me Beguin, President of the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan, Leyla Abdullayeva, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to France, and Sona Guliyeva, the founder of the 'Second Life' project. The speakers at the event highlighted that Novruz embodies the moral-ethical values of the Azerbaijani people, showcasing their openness to innovation and development through different historical periods. They also emphasized the connection between the country's past, present, and future.

The speakers noted that National Leader Heydar Aliyev saw the Novruz holiday as a foundational aspect of the country's national ideology. They also highlighted that President Ilham Aliyev attaches significant importance to this holiday, with ongoing efforts under his leadership to preserve and promote Novruz. These efforts aim to maintain it as a symbol of the people's unity, integrity, and spiritual maturity, as well as a representation of the richness and uniqueness of the country's national culture.

The 'Second Life' project aims to enhance international cultural cooperation and encourage dialogue between contemporary art and traditional artistic heritage. Following the speeches, event participants had the opportunity to view the decorative space prepared for the Novruz holiday, as well as the carpets on display.
