Baku: On December 23, participants of the international conference 'Protecting Children in the Digital Environment: Modern Tools and International Cooperation,' visited the Heydar Aliyev Center.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of IDEA Public Union, accompanied the guests during their visit to the 'My Seas, My Oceans' exhibition. The exhibition highlights the urgent need for preserving the world's water resources and is organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and IDEA Public Union.
The exhibition showcases works by contemporary artists addressing global challenges such as pollution, overfishing, and biodiversity loss. The artworks depict water as a source of life, renewal, and imagination. Through various artistic media, including painting, sculpture, and multimedia, artists focus on themes of water conservation, climate change, sustainability, and marine biodiversity. Their creative expressions advocate for the protection of seas, oceans, and the future.
After the exhibition tour, Leyla Aliyeva engaged in a bilateral meeting with Zahra Pezeshkian, Head of the Iranian Delegation and daughter of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran. During the event, guests presented Leyla Aliyeva with a gift, and she reciprocated by presenting gifts to the attendees.
