Pashinyan Advocates for Armenia’s Integration with Azerbaijan and Trkiye’s Energy Systems

Yerevan: It would be right for Armenia to connect to the energy systems of Azerbaijan and Trkiye, said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a briefing today, APA reports, citing Armenian media.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Nikol Pashinyan noted that the surplus of electricity in Armenia and Azerbaijan creates potential for access to international markets. He stated, "This means that Armenia will be able to use transit through the Azerbaijani network, and Azerbaijan will be able to use the Armenian network to transmit energy, including to Nakhchivan."

The Prime Minister added that even if Armenia's energy exports do not materialize for any reason, at least Armenia will receive income from transit.
