Yerevan: Armenia considers it important to expand energy cooperation with Trkiye and Azerbaijan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a joint press conference following his meeting with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen in Yerevan, APA reports, citing Armenian media.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency,Pashinyan emphasized the necessity to enhance collaboration in the energy sector, focusing on the construction of electricity transmission lines and the development of energy connections with neighboring Trkiye and Azerbaijan. He noted that such cooperation could bolster energy security and facilitate the green transition.
Pashinyan also highlighted Armenia's interest in participating in the Black Sea submarine electricity cable project. Furthermore, he underscored Yerevan's commitment to strengthening ties in the field of digitalization.
