Pavel Durov: Any Tech Company in France Can Be Declared a “Criminal Organization”

Paris: Pavel Durov, co-founder of the Telegram messenger, has raised concerns about the impact of bureaucratic actions in France on the technology sector. He argues that the pursuit of personal career advancement and political ambitions by certain bureaucrats is posing a serious threat to the investments that have been attracted over decades.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Durov expressed that the current environment in France allows for any technology company to be labeled as a “criminal group.” He emphasized that the efforts made over the years to draw investment into the technology sector are at risk of being undone by the personal interests of a few individuals in positions of power.
