People’s Artist of Russia Gennady Yukhtin has died at the age of 89, TASS with reference to the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, APA reports.

Gennady Yukhtin is known to viewers for the films “Spring on Zarechnaya Street”, “The Rumyantsev Case”, “Scuba Tanks at the Bottom”, “Dead Season” and “The Lark”. He also starred in Siberiade and Elusive Avengers. In 1994, Yukhtin received the title of People’s Artist of Russia.
