St. petersburg: Ivan Krasko, People’s Artist of Russia and renowned Soviet and Russian actor known for his work in theater, cinema, and voice acting, has passed away at the age of 94. The news was shared by Alexander Rzhanenkov, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare of the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly of the seventh convocation.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Rzhanenkov announced Krasko’s death on August 9 through a Telegram post. In his message, Rzhanenkov expressed the profound impact of Krasko’s passing, stating, “Ivan Ivanovich Krasko passed away today. To say that this is an irreparable loss is an understatement. For millions, he was a beloved actor, a voice that we recognized from the first words, a face that entire generations grew up with.”
