Person Suspected of Premeditated Murder to Be Extradited from Germany

Berlin: A Ukrainian citizen suspected of committing premeditated murder is set to be extradited from Germany. The Prosecutor General’s Office announced that Samik Arif oglu Babayev’s extradition has been approved by the relevant authorities in Germany, in compliance with the European Convention on Extradition dated December 13, 1957.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, reasonable suspicions were established regarding Babayev’s involvement in a premeditated murder. Following the decision to prosecute him as an accused person, Babayev fled the investigation and went into hiding, leading to him being declared internationally wanted.

The Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice is currently taking necessary measures to facilitate Babayev’s extradition to the country where he is wanted for prosecution.
