Baku: Supported by the Ministry of Health, Azerbaijan's first full-scale Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic has been inaugurated under the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after Aziz Aliyev (ASATID). The Ministry of Health organized a media tour at the newly opened clinic.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, ASATID Rector Nazim Panahov noted that the establishment of the clinic marks a significant new stage in Azerbaijan's medical history. Chief Physician of the clinic, Dilgam Mammadov, emphasized that the facility will provide a wide range of services, including reconstructive, aesthetic, and microsurgical operations, burn and post-burn reconstruction, oncoplastic and post-trauma restorative surgery, craniofacial and hand surgery, as well as coverage of skin and soft tissue defects.
The clinic will also offer specialized procedures such as breast and facial reconstruction, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, mammoplasty, liposuction, abdominoplasty, and facelifting. These services are set to enhance the healthcare landscape in Azerbaijan, offering advanced medical solutions to a variety of surgical needs.
