Baku: Azerbaijani society and the international community have once again become convinced that President Ilham Aliyev is a strong leader, stated Prime Minister Ali Asadov during the presentation of the 'Report on the Activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2025.'

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized that in the face of complex geopolitical processes, increasing tensions, and risks currently unfolding in the region, Azerbaijan's sovereignty and the inviolability of its borders are being reliably ensured. This stability is attributed to the consistent and pragmatic foreign policy course of President Aliyev, along with his strategic vision and principled stance based on national interests.

Prime Minister Asadov highlighted a recent incident involving unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Iranian territory against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. He noted that this incident reinforced the perception of President Aliyev as a strong leader who safeguards his people's security and steadfastly supports his nation. Asadov also mentioned that recent regional events underscore the necessity and soundness of the decision to keep Azerbaijan's land borders closed, further validating President Aliyev's wise and forward-thinking state policy.
