Abu dhabi: The Zayed Award for Human Fraternity is equally important for every Armenian and Azerbaijani, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the award ceremony of the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity in Abu Dhabi, APA's correspondent dispatched to Abu Dhabi reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Pashinyan emphasized the significance of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, highlighting that the award represents an achievement that belongs to both nations' peoples. He remarked on the vision and wisdom required to halt the conflict and the collective desire for peace that made this historic moment possible. Pashinyan expressed gratitude to the citizens of both countries for embracing a new future, acknowledging that the past is unchangeable and urging a focus on creating a peaceful and prosperous future.
Pashinyan also extended his thanks to US President Donald Trump for his role in the peace agreement. He noted the numerous lives lost during the conflict and described peace as the greatest tribute to the victims. Pashinyan expressed his hope for President Trump to be recognized with a Nobel Peace Prize for his personal involvement and commitment to peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
