Poland had provided Ukraine with weapons worth 1.6 billion dollars, said Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of Poland, APA reports citing Ukrainian News Agency.

The aid was a step towards defend the sovereignty of Ukraine, Poland, and Europe, said Piotr Müller, the Polish government spokesman on Twitter.
