Poland’s PM says there are disagreements among EU countries on Russia

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said in an interview El Mundo that among the countries of the European Union there is disagreement regarding the scale of sanctions against Russia, which are planned to be imposed against it in the event of a hypothetical “invasion” of Ukraine, APA reports.

He stressed that all EU states agree that Ukraine must maintain its sovereignty.

“The differences relate to the scale of sanctions against Russia or the provision of military support to Ukraine, positions that must be agreed upon at the community or NATO level … We need a strong voice, not many diverging voices,” the politician said.
