Police seized 31 kg of drugs

On November 25, the Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted an operation against drug dealers. A resident of Masalli Farhad Nuroglu and a resident of Baku Ramin Gurbanov were detained during the raid,the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. During a search of Ramin Gurbanov’s apartment, 31 kg of various types of drugs were found: 22 kg of heroin, 7 kg of methamphetamine, 2 kg of opium.

 

It was established that the drugs were supplied from abroad. The drug dealers established a connection with them on social networks. After that, Farhal Guroglu accepted a consignment of drugs from them in the Yardimli region bordering Iran and handed over to Ramin Gurbanov in the Garadagh region of Baku. The drug dealers planned to sell this large consignment of drugs in the capital.

 

A lawsuit was filed on the fact, both detainees were arrested by a court decision, the same source said.
