Polish ambassador: We must do our utmost to achieve peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia

“The European Union is interested in the existence of peace and stability in the South Caucasus. This has been repeatedly emphasized both at the level of the President of the EU Council, Charles Michel, and by the politicians of the EU member states, including my country Poland, and the Polish government,” said Ambassador of Poland to Azerbaijan Rafal Poborsk to APA.

The ambassador noted that they positively evaluate the EU’s involvement in a peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

“We hope that we will be able to jointly promote the peace agenda in this region. Unfortunately, every time after the Brussels meetings, we observe negative incidents both on the border and in the Azerbaijani territories which are not under Baku’s control currently. We must do our best in order to achieve peace,” said the ambassador.

The Polish diplomat noted that cooperation among Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the EU will benefit both peoples and their societies.
